DCF timeline-How long after assigned to officer?

Hello,

I applied for my Italian husbands I-130 December 4th at the USCIS in Rome. On December 18th, I called and they informed me that my case has been assigned to an officer and it should take about a week to ten days for the approval/denial. I called again today (Dec. 27) and they told me they weren't sure how long it would take (could take up to 90 days grr). I was just wondering how long does approval usually take after the I-130 petition is assigned to an officer. And also, after the approval, how long (through DCF) does it take to get to the medical/interview stage? Could it be a month or 2? I am desperate because I NEED to return to America!

Thank you for your help
