My fiance and I were at the embassy in Rio a few weeks ago. Everyone was nice and polite and the interview went very smoothly. She should be fine. I know in Brazil they have a lot of requirements they have to fulfill in order to get any type of visa so I would think her denial of a student visa wouldn't be a big deal now.

Thanks for the info! That makes me feel alittle bit better ;]

did they give her a letter as to why she was denied or did they tell her why,

I do not remember exactly what it said, but it was a common denile letter they sent her. I think it was something along the lines of they did not beileve it was her true intent to come back to America. Part of me beileves she litterly was here for 2 years went home and within a months time tried to come back to America. I think thats the reason. So we made our decison to get married and file for the 129F. I guess they were kind of right because really she wanted to come back for me and go to school as well. haha
