Just contacted an ISO and he said to me estimated wait time is going to be 6-8 months. Hopefully that won't be true. I asked where is my case and is it going to be transferred elsewhere. He said it's already been assigned for someone at the NBC.

well that's cool, if the casefile is with an adjudicator at MSC already ! Yay !

If it's been transferred to a 'local office' , though, yer in for a bit of a wait.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Why to prove you wrong, when the entire premise of 'why to transfer' was to speed things along in the first place?

Bonus points for studying the I-130 monthly threads, from August to January ;)

Thinking about applying for this credit card and adding her name to it. Gonna bring it to China when I leave on Feb 18. No foreign transaction fees and no annual fee. Good idea? She can use it over there adding more to evidence, ya?

your bill will be crazy if she starts using it. just because it is master/visa and there is a foreign transaction fee w/ bad exchange rate. money transfer is good enough for financial support.

Western credit cards are usable at ATMs, but that's about it. You can't even use your VISA/MC/AX at Walmarts in China, so its terribly inconvenient for many shopping places.

More evidence is always fun - but suggest you redo your utility bills so her name is alongside yours.

If possible to redo a lease or deed, do that.

Here's what I did, a month after returning from 'the marriage trip':

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=218775&st=0&p=3324240&hl=Rusticentry3324240

So you have some time, to generate what is possible for you.

Good Luck !
