I know there were a few from the DR with cr-1 visas that called the NVC on the 2nd day of the month and were given their interview date, but you can keep calling NVC now to see if they schedule it before that.

My case was complete yesterday 12/03/2012 for my hubby! My question is how long is taking to get the date of the interview in Dominican Republic? Thank You in advanc e

Give the DOS(Department of State) - 202-663-1225 (press 1 then 0 to speak with a visa specialist) a call provide them with the info. base on you case, they should be able to give you interview date fast then NVC.... Good Luck!

Pkt3 in the interview letter with instructions on what to do next ( I've read that most of the time the beneficiary hardly rec'd this pkt) So as soon as you rec'd it by email or mail you just fax or email to your husband he can use that letter to get his medical done and pay any other remaining fees (banco popular for verification records).

Ok, I called again a spoke to someone else and she told me that I am just waiting for

packet 4 that there is no packet 3 that was a mistake (there is no packet 3 on I-130). So my question is what is packet 4 is it the interview?

Yes! excuse me I meant to correct both of us... That is correct there is not pkt3 is actually 4 and it's the interview letter with instruction on what to do.
