Interview date- Child is listed on interview letter

Hello everyone I am a bit concerned with my Fiances appointment letter, he sent me the copy that the consulate sent him and on it it has his daughter

listed as the minor child,Can't explain how and why they did this because his daughter lives in Chicago with her mother.(She doesn't need a visa) I dont know how to take this? should I call the consulate in the Dominican Republic or The Dept of state here? or should we just wait until the interview? Would appreciate any advise.

I listed her when asked about info on any children but I also put that she was not going to be traveling with him and her address in Chicago.

More than likely they just listed her if she was born in the DR and did not pay attention to anything else. I wouldn't be concerned about it. You can let them know at the interview that she is already in the US with her mother and will not be needing a visa.

That's what I was thinking as well but you know we have finally come close to the end and dont want something like this to push it back and have to wait even more. Thank you for the reassurance

Typically with K1's any child listed on the petition will automatically be included for the interview. Just let them know at the interview that she will not be immigrating as she is already in the U.S. Not a big deal and nothing to worry about.
