Hi all, can anyone help me what documents needs to submitted at NVC in case of no birth certificate. I have already sent affidavits from the court from my parents with my birth details and my high school certificate which has my date of birth. But I have got the checklist again regarding the same. Please help. I am from India

Can you not use your passport as proof of US citizenship?

Never mind, I didn't read the last bit of your message that you're from India. Is there perhaps a way of ordering a birth certificate? I know you can in the US.

If ur born in india then go to the district collector office of the town u wr born...submit all the supporting documents as a proof of ur birth in that office and they wil give u an order to reregister ur birth and thats it ...u get a brand new birth certificate rm corporation office....i faced similar problem but i got a new birth certificate after the abovesaid procedue.....good luck....!!
