im really nervous on how to open the packet.. i opened the 2go plastic and i want to retrieve my passport how will i do that? can i open the seal in the plastic or cut the side? and how about the immigrant data summary they need original and photocopy at CFO do you need to bring the whole packet? or photocopy is enough? thanks!

You can open the plastic bag and retrieve your passport as you will be needing it for travel, also make a copy of your immigrant data summary as CFO seems to want a copy. KEEP the yellow envelope in the plastic bag to protect it, seal the bag closed again.

Above answer is correct but you don't open the packet since only immigration officers at your POE can open that. I recently flew from PI to D.C and I just tore a small tear on the plastic just to get my passport and for the CFO thing you can just get it photocopy with the whole thing on it and bring the photocopy to to CFO office. They pretty know that we cannot detach the IDS(Immigration Data Summary) and it's risky to carry around the visa packet.

i did the same thing.. i was also worried coz the 2go delivery man told me not to open the plastic..i was like.. how will i get my passport for cfo??? ended up opening the plastic for about 2 inches enough to get my passport and had my ids photo copied .
