My husband is picking up his visa on Tues. Now when he reaches POE what dorder he need to have I know his passport and the medical? He'll be coming soon So I just want to make sure he has it all together. Thanks

That is great news. He just needs his passport and his unopened brown envelope. They will have him complete two customs forms - one blue, one white on the plane. :yes:

Where does he get the brown envelope? He didn't say anything bout that. That's not the Med. Is it?

The brown letter she mentioned is the "do not open" packet he'll get when he picks up his passport.

It suppose to have the medical, documents sent to the embassy from nvc, original birth and marriage certificate, and other immigration related paperwork.

Ahh that stinks they keep our original documents at the POE!! my marriage certificate and our birth certificates are on there. This process has been a joy.

Do they mail them to us at some point when my mom has entered the country? How long do they hold on to them.

I don't think they mail them out to you. They'll keep them on your file. That's why it's good to have extra copies when doing this process.

Did you call them? I called the Visa place and they told me they are doing "final review" :huh: and to call back next week or the week after if i don't hear anything by then. :blink:
