Ok, it's been over two weeks after they sent packet 3, and Hamid STILL hasn't received it. We've both called Casa and they say to wait. They won't tell us the information about what's in the packet. I email them, and they don't answer my question, the answer some other question.

Can someone PLEASE PLEASE pretty please PM me with the contents of the packet? What doctors can he go to? What forms does he need? What else does he need? Pppplleeeaaasssee? We're both going crazy and

Casa is of NO help. And our interview is 2 weeks away! It would probably take a least a week to schedule the medical, so that's running really short on time. Please help me out! please?

timeline doesn't matter.

Hi Liz,

I'm sure people have PMed you this but he needs to get his medical done preferably this week if possible. They say 2 weeks in advance. IF the forms don't come don't worry you can download them. Let me know if no one has responded and I will give you one of the doctors name that Hicham went to in Casa. Also if you want I can give you the name of the man we had translate Hicham's BC and police report. It cost about 10 dollars per translation.

Good luck!

Sarah

It has been awhile but back in 05 when I emailed the consulate about my fiance's packet, they said he could come by and get a copy since he was in Casablanca at the time. Unfortunately it took 3 days for them to answer my email and he had already left. If your fiance lives near Casa, you could give it a try.

Good Luck!

Liz, If you PM me your email address I will forward the doctor list to you. Casa emailed it to me when I was in your situation a week ago. You can schedule your appt (omar called last friday and got one for today) and if by chance he still does not have his paperwork, if you have your email from casa with his interview date, he can take that as his proof. Although I'm sure the package will arrive any moment. You and I got our notices at the same time and Omar's papers arrived this past monday.

If your fiance has access to the net, he can download the forms from here, and fill them out. DS156, 156k and 230 Pt I are what Omar and another fiance I spoke with in maroc received. They are currently crossing out the I134 on the list. The forms take awhile to fill out, so if he can he should start on them now in case he has questions.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Maggie

Thanks you all for your advice! I'm surprised Casa didn't email me that. It was like they didn't read my email or something. Ufff. Anyway, luckily I already filled out some of those forms with him, and the rest I will probably talk him through with chat. lhamdullah he has a computer at home.

I got one doctor's name and contact info, so I'll give that to hamid tonight, and I'll email him a copy of the email as proof. Thanks for that tip.

Once again, thanks everyone. you've proven that ME/NA forum isn't just about bickering! :D:luv:
