My fiancee had her passport stolen and someone tried to use it going through Mexico city. This was 8 months ago.We immediatlt filed for a new one and they keep telling her to come back next week.Every time she has to go to Mexico city it is 90 dollars in bus and taxis.I am trying to support her but I have to save for the interview plane tickets and expenses. It is putting a strain on my fiances and tthey do nothing or offer no explanation except that they are busy. She told them it was urgent and she had to get the appointment date set and they do not care.I asked her why cant she call befor eshe gore and she says they dont answer. The petion expired June 22 and I wrote the consulate and they said they can extend it when we get the passport. I am desperate and tired of every week the disapointment of no progress. Please any ideas?
