My fiance is from Australia and she owes taxes for a couple years and owes centrelink. The total amount she owes to both is a few thousand.

When we start the K-1 process will this need to be paid before hand? She is going to pay it off but it is going to take some time.

Has anyone heard of being denied a K-1 for tax related stuff?

She won't be asked about it as long as it is not owing to the US goverment. As long as your tax returns are in order, don't worry about it and start off the K1 process asap as it is a very long process
