hi

so i started working on preparing the documents for a K-1 visa and am having a bit of difficulties getting the things together due to certain situations surrounding my fiancee...

she's korean (we both are, and we're both 27) and was born in uzbekistan and now a russian citizen. she has been living in korea for the past 6ish years with a C-3 visa. her visa expired 5 years ago. her russian passport expired last year.

she is currently planning on returning to russia so that she can see her family, and that when i file the documents with USCIS, they will be sent to the consulate near her (parent's) home in russia, and if all goes as expected, she can receive her visa there and then come here and marry me :D

the problems i'm having are filling out her G-325A (biographic info). she works as a texas hold'em dealer in an underground poker house and is paid under the table. no apartment she has lived in have ever been under her name. i have no idea how exactly i should fill out the form regarding her employment and housing...especially when it asks for the "last 5 years."

bonus question! should i file an I-134 (Affidavit of Support) along with the I-129F?

thanks!

(i'm not military but a plain 'ol u.s. citizen.)

1) You can file I129F now. Just make sure you fill out G325A carefully.

2) Employment: you should state the truth. I do not see it as problem.

3) I134 is needed only on embassy stage. don't send it.

4) While you are waiting you need to gather followign documents which will take time to gather so it is a blessing that it takes time:

a) Russian passport, current

b) Police certificate from all places where she lived including Korea
