K1 Visa- Naples Consulate Can't Find Case!

So I've received information from the Visa center saying they it was sent to naples. I received a message from naples saying they got it. Then another after we faxed the ds 230. After 5 business days we called to schedule our interview... They can't find the case number! They wrote down our information and said they would email the "embassy" and they would contact me directly. They provided no timeline or anything...

How common is this? Did I miss something here? The email said call in 5 days, how could I have received an email if they didn't even have our information or case number on file?! It is Naples, are they milking the 15 euro per call charge so we just keep calling?

No I'm from the US and my Fiance is from the Lodi area. I will just wait, we were thinking that they may just not have processed it yet - the place we called appears to be a call center not actually in the consulate. Ugh, it definitely is annoying.

I bet it is. After a long wait you expect things to go smoothly and then BUM someone lost your paperwork. I's so sorry for you guys and I hope this accident doesn't delay things too much.

I am from Naples, I applied for a spouse visa and I am still stuck in the "initial review" phase. I know it might sound strange to you but if your fiance needs any advice about how to move around in Naples, advices about trains or buses I will be glad to help! We're all on the same boat!
