Be confident in your answers. Best advice I can give anyone going to a visa interview.

Remember, the person interviewing you is human too. This isn't an exam with any right or wrong answers. The interviewer isn't trying to keep as many people out of the US as possible. They welcome tourists, they're just there to make sure you're a legitimate one. Which you are, so remember that, and make sure they know that!

guysss i have B2/visa interview at New Delhi( india) next week m soo nervous anyy suggestions for sucessfull interview

Hi,

They normally are pretty harmless (if you can believe that). They just basically want to follow up on two things:

1) That you have enough funds to financially support yourself while in the US

2) That you are going back to your home country so you'll probably get questions about your employment and living situation.

Hope this helps.

Passport is enough. However, the CBP will likely ask you some questions too, like how long you're staying etc. You probably won't need it, but it is advisable to have those same docs with you.

Don't get confused about the 10 year validity. This does not mean you can stay in the US for 10 years - It means you can use the visa to enter the US for 10 years without renewing it.

The CBP decides how long you can stay, usually 6 months at a time. On the plane before landing, you'll be given a white form called I-94 to fill out. The CBP will stamp a date on this I-94 and staple the form to the back of your passport. The date on this stamp is the last date on which you can leave the US.

Again, congrats!
