passport will not be ready

I was trying to find out if my passport will be ready for collection tomorrow but see their response, I dont understand

They said its not ready so in my opinion there isnt a point to go. Plus they said you can keep contacting for updates. So id just keep doing that until they say its ready. How long has it been since your interview? And when did the CO instruct you to come pick it up?

the CO told me to go on tuesay been 30/10/2012 but in considering if the public holiday may have affect that issue date... thankx
