Am frustrated with the new support services, if VFS was there i would hav directly walked in n by now would hav gotten my packet 4 now i dont where to contact apart from the ustraveldocs. the customer support person say that the published result is not true you have to wait for packet 4... next week i see my scheduled interview in the list,, waiting for around 9 months to get the interview date and now unable to attend the interview since i have not received the app letter.. now am totally blank, dont know wat do :crying:

Hello,

Someone there at the support center do look at the below website and then answer my query. In that link they have clearly mentioned that If your appointment appears on the interview schedule but have not yet received an appointment letter within fifteen (15) days of your appointment, you may request a duplicate appointment letter by emailing support-india@ustraveldocs.com.

http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/interview_appt_schedule.html

My interview is next thursday (November 1st) and i have not yet received my appointment letter. Am repeatedly asking you'll for the duplicate appointment letter to be emailed to me but you'll always have an standard reply "CONTACT NVC" In my first email itself i have said that i have contacted NVC and they say that "The NVC has completed its processing of this visa petition, and forwarded it to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in MUMBAI (BOMBAY) INDIA."

So please do email me a copy of my appointment letter, It is urgently needed

Thanking You,

Arunadevi Ramasamy

Did you call them? The email helpline is useless. They aren't very helpful over the phone either but at least you'll get a response right away. They pay more attention over the phone. So call if you haven't already done so. Tell them it's urgent!!! Do you live in Mumbai? I think if you do then you can still appear for your interview: take a print out of the November interview list and highlight your case number. When they ask for your interview letter just tell them you were never sent one but you have your interview on that day. They should be able to help; they won't turn you away just like that when your case number is on the list. But try to call first. Whenever I've called them, an agent is always available to talk. Most of the time in India, you have to push at each stage to get somewhere...
