Hi! My wife and I have been waiting for a month after our interview to hear from USCIS but nothing. We are both 21 yes i know its young... Please no negative comments. She came here exactly 1 yr ago on a visitors visa. And she stayed. She was here for 6 months and i popped the question and we got married 1 month after her visa expired. We filed for her AOS scared that something might happen. We went for biometrics and her EAC came in after our interview. The officer was very brief and didnt even go out of her way to ask anything but was what was on her paper. She just flipped thru some photos of us and she gave us a paper to wait 60 days... Nothing else. Everyone who was there was getting approved why not us? Is it because we are too young? We gave everythin that they asked for. Are we just overthinking it?

you're overthinking it. also, just because everybody else was approved doesn't mean you will be. each case is considered in its own separate circumstances.

they said 60 days. it has only been 30. Be patient.

Adjustment of Status from H-1B, Family-Based
07/26/2012 - 10/18/2012: 85 Days from Application Received to GC Received.
Removal of Conditions
07/22/2014 - 11/14/2014: 116 Days from Application Received to GC Received.
Naturalization
02/03/2016 - 05/31/2016 : 119 Days from Application Received to Oath Ceremony.

I am a United States citizen!
