Long vs Short Birthcertificate for Aos

I need US houseband birthcertificate to AOS Filling. We got a sealed copy from New York Vital Record. That copy has only front side info( nothing on the back) and most importantly has only his name,birthdate,birth place,both parents name on it. Is that acceptable for immigration or they want a longer more detailed version.please help me if you know. Thank u

I submitted hubby's certified copy of birth certificate that we got from our state's vital record office. It was the short version. I didn't get RFE or anything. You do have an option of submitting your husband's US passport bio page though.
