I won't be able to join Empress for her interview and it looks like she'll also be solo.

So from the POV of a solo person what are your reccomendations?

I am preparing a checklist for her, please let me know if I've missed anything:

Take a pen

Leave the XRay at home.

No cell phone (or is there a place nearby where she can leave the cellphone?)

Take the appointment letter/email with you.

Photocopy of the birth certificate.

No camera.

No sharp objects.

Get in the immigrant line (most likely on the left side).

Petition package

Visa package

Not sure if K1 is different at the interview than CR1/IR1, but below is what I told my husband not to forget for his interview...use what you need of it (or NOT)...

1) Be prepared to open the Envelope from the medical in front of the security guard, they may ask you to do so...it is ok then.

2) Arrive early as possible

3) 3 Passport sized photos

4) Beneficiary Passport

God Bless her that she may have a favorable interview!
