hello.. ived been marriage almost month.. and my husband already went home to US. and he was planing to file my visa next month.. but our marriage contract having problem. about my fathers name. misspelled 1 later.. i hope this problem is not denied from my visa and embassy.. need some advice pls thanks

you have to file for the correction of any erroneous in your marriage certificate,.you will be lucky if the USCIS, NVC and Manila embassy will not caught the error,does not really cause for denials but you will be possible to receive RFE for the error and that will delay the petition..this process of correcting the error takes 3 months from the Local Civil Registrar to NSO and there are many required documents to show for the correction,you should fix this problem as soon as possible. go to your Local Civil Registrar where the Marriage happen and ask them the process for you to get ready all docs they want from you...good luck..this is very stress fullcrying.gif

12-17-2014 - NOA received w/ one year extension
01-07-2015 - Biometric appointment
05-18-2015 - I-751 approved
05-22-2015 - Received 10 years green card
