Guys!

I got 2 same letters today-2nd Finger print appointment notice for i-485.I did my FP in October,2011.Why did they send me 2nd FP appointment?Fingerprints are expired only in 15 months(Very confused now....

This is the federal government you are dealing with. First, the finger prints you gave before were for a different application so you need new finger prints for this new application. Second, they want more recent information and seem to have placed a time limit of 12 months for biometric and medical information and beyond that they need to be done again. Third, you paid $85 for this "service" so why not get what you paid for  .

I just hope the person taking your FPs is better than the one taking my wife's. It took 45 minutes to get her FPs done.

Good luck,

Dave
