Have not heard back from USCIS

I am applying for AOS through marriage (from F1 visa). My package was delivered to the lockbox location a week ago and I haven't heard back from them. I did fill out the form to be notified via Email and text message. I have looked at time lines and it doesn't usually take this long. Did anyone go through the same anxiety? Is it normal for them to take this long? I would appreciate the community's feedback.

It took me 7 days before I heard back from them, some people don't hear anything for a few weeks. Sometimes they miss the G-1145 and the first you know that they've received your package is your biometrics appointment letter or your NOA1s.

11/29/12 - AOS Interview in Atlanta - 10 minutes long and approved on the spot.

ROC in 2014!

Welcome to the forum.

Did you send via USPS with delivery confirmation (as recommended in the VJ K-1 AOS guide)?

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos

"Where to File Everything:

Applicants are required to mail applications to a national mailbox (Chicago) as stated on the form (not your local USCIS office). Be sure to mail the package with return receipt requested / delivery confirmation. Send via USPS."

If not, relax, you are likely okay. Check our signature, it took almost two weeks before we got our I-797c notices.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)
