I got my email for packet 3 from abu dhabi, and i want to ask if there is anyone who was able to change their interview date to a later time. They gave me November 25 for interview date which is too soon for me and my fiance. I know there are some k1 applicants who got a interview date for Decembers which they received noa2 way before i did. Please let me know anyone who got success..

Thank you

If you mean 'too soon' as in your fiance will not be ready to leave UAE, then I would suggest keeping the original interview date. If he is approved he will have 6 months to enter the U.S. and won't have to use the visa immediately. That is what we did when we went through ABD.

Is your fiance an Arab national? There is also a strong chance he could get put on AP for name checks, so you could spend 2 months (or more :( )waiting for his visa anyway. It is certainly your call and you know best for you situation but I would consider keeping the interview date.

I have been trying to reach them(actually not me my fiance Aamir) around 2 to 5pm but they never answer their phone so I just sent them a email now, and hoping to get a respond soon.

When i mean "too soon" it means we are not ready for the interview, its not about him ready to leave UAE when we get approve he will be coming here ASAP when visa is approve no problem for him but its too soon for a interview date for us because i need to be able to get time off from work to fly to UAE to be with him on interview date. We already plan this, also not to mention many other things is getting in the way so we need at least 2 month for preparation. My fiance is Pakistani and i am aware that he might be put on AP, but doesnt matter if it takes a long time we dont mind as long as interview went very well.

Gotcha. Good luck at the interview and enjoy your trip to UAE.
