I just had my CFO in Cebu yeasterday! I was there with my brother and nephew to keep m company at 3 a.m. I was there early cause i thought i might not make it that day if i wont be early cause there are only 12 slots allowed! There were lots of homeless people lying beside the cfo office! No other attendees were there,up until 6 a.m! Imagine my fraustration and tiredness for waiting. At 6, 2 girls came an i was relieved, at least now i know there is really a seminar that day. I wont be going home with nothing! I prepared lots of documents, but i am an emigrant so i wont be needing all of original bc,mc,cemar and other stuff like the Fiancee are asked! As the day progresses lots of seminar atteendees are arriving,so it wont be necessary to be there as early as I did, but the guard adjascent to the cfo building said everyday is not the same, ither times as early as 2 am lots of people are in line already, other time none..so any one who wants to have CFO in Cebu be there not so early! The seminar was very informative, it answered some of my questions and give me idea as to when and what i should be doing when i arrive in my poe! I only paid 400 pesos for the sticker, that's it! I thought i'll be recieving a certificate but the counter said i'm good to go! It was just an hour of seminar and question and answer forum! I think for fiancees they are much more meticulous, if you are a minor you should have or one of your parents with you when attending the seminar! There are lots of papers to be filled out and if the attendees are over 12 it will take more time due to one on one interview! The schedule of interviees after the registration is emigrants 10-12, fiancees and spouse of foriegn nationals 2-5 but may extend up to 7 pm ! I hope this will give an insight to those who wants to take there seminar in Cebu!
