My wifes parents have a immigrant interview on October 19th to move to the US. I have seen a few people talk about first time immigrant discount or senior citizen discount for plane tickets if you buy them in the Philippines. Is it really cheaper to buy the ticket in the Philippines or should I just buy them from the US so they dont have to deal with it? Anyone actually get a better price either way. I would like to know the experience of others buying tickets. The best I have found so far flying from Manila to Las Vegas is Hawaiian Airlines at 649.20 with tax then I stopped by mango Tours in Las Vegas and they gave me a price of 630.00 with tax. What is everyone else paying and what airline?
