Hi every one I hope I can find some answers for my concerns (SITUATION) about my N 400 I applied on Feb 14 2012 got finger printed fours weeks later, amonth later I received the letter indicating that I am in line for interview but since that I did not get anything from the USCIS, I contacted them more than 5 times and I made three info passes ( at my local field office in Dertoit) and no one gave me answers, nothing came out from all these attempts they take my information promise to contact me but no one did, my question is i notice people in different topics are worried about taking too long but it is taking me longer? have anyone went through what I am going through, I am thinking to hire an attorney but at this time money is tight and I am between jobs, so what do you advise me to do it has been more than 7.5 months since my application was processed. so any advice??? you have no idea how much this issue is taking a toll on my entire life.

please help

You should connect with your Senator or Representative before spend money for a lawyer. You wait too much! My local office is Detroit also. I filed in June and my interview will be at November; I thought my case is soooo long!
