Hello, after waiting 8 months we got an rfe.

it requests a letter from the pet describing how we met and supporting evidence. What does you suggest for supporting evidence besides pictures and passport stamps?

it also states that we did not date the pictures. i sent an entire album, i didnt realize that dates would lead to disbelief that we are not a true couple.

I need some advice on what else to send.

I will resend the pictures with dates but what other supporting documents can i send? its hard to keep stuff after so long.

At the back of the pictures write the dates and who are in the pictures. I sent about 5 pictures with us in different settings. It is not quantity but quality.

How you met is the specific question #18 on the I-129 form.

Here is what I wrote on how we met: "I met my fiance xxxxxxxxx when I visited the Philippines (coming from New Jersey, USA), from January 10, 2012 to January 24, 2012. I met xxxxxx parents and siblings along with her extended family and friends. On January 20, 2012 I proposed to xxxxx and she accepted. "

That was all I wrote and we were approved.

Do you have plane tickets, boarding passes, hotel bills, restaurant bills, ATM or bank statements that show you were there? All of these would be additional proof of meeting within the past 2 years.

When responding to a Request for Evidence it is extremely important that you place the blue coversheet on the top of the response you send to them. The VSC receives thousands of pieces of correspondence each day, if the blue coversheet is not on the top of the response it will be placed in “general” correspondence and NOT sorted as a priority, which may delay your case.

Sent I-129 Application to VSC 2/1/12
NOA1 2/8/12
RFE 8/2/12
RFE reply 8/3/12
NOA2 8/16/12
NVC received 8/27/12
NVC left 8/29/12
Manila Embassy received 9/5/12
Visa appointment & approval 9/7/12
Arrived in US 10/5/2012
Married 11/24/2012
AOS application sent 12/19/12

AOS approved 8/24/13
