London Embassy Restritions

Hi,

I'm aware that no electronic items are permitted inside the embassy, however, is there any restrictions on the size of the bag you can take in? I'm contemplating taking a small case, the size your allowed in the cabin of a plane. Is this allowed? Also do they let you in with any liquids?

When i went for my daughters CRBA i took my handbag which was probably the size of a suitcase that day! We also took in one drink each (3) and we were not asked to taste it but ive heard of others being asked to.

I would say that if you dont NEED to bring it, then dont. I think you could probably store it at Goulds if they turn you around anyway.

They ask you not to bring large bags in, as there isn't enough space for them in the waiting area. If you can, I'd suggest you leave it at home, or store it at your hotel until you're done. I suspect there's also a restriction on the size of bags that can fit through their security scanner too.

I think anything that resembles luggage or cases would likely be prohibited. Take your papers in an accordian folder. Its about security. Read their warning page http://london.usembassy.gov/visas_security.html
