Hi, everyone. I have been trying to figure out how to check my fiance case status, through the Interest section's webside, in Havana Cuba, I know they update the list almost every week; however, it is very confusing to me and sometimes it seems that they are not in order, My fiance send me a copy of the pass he received the day of the interview to return and pick up his visa, but they did not write the case number there, I am going by the case number assigned to our case by the NVC( the HAV*****) any help from those that has already been trough the process, it will be greatly appreciated. :help:

The list on the website (I think) is for non-immigrant visas. The only way to tell if your fiance's visa is ready is to call SINA (or wait for them to call you.)

Actually, my fiance says that list is only for parole and family reclamation cases.

thank you so much, I was trying to make sure that the visa would be there before he goes, I hear that sometimes you go on the days they tell you and the visa is not ready, and people spend the day waiting under the sun and making long lines from early morning until the time they allow them to get into the embassy. do you have by any chance the number to call SINA?

834-4400 (al 05). My fiance says that he had good luck calling 834-4402 around noon- he said he was usually able to get a hold of someone then.

I know what you mean about the wait. I saw people wait all morning (and they had been notified that their visa was ready) only to get turned away because SINA had already reached that day's visa limit. So, make sure that your fiance gets there early on the date that it is ready. My fiance says if he can get there at 5:00 AM, that would be best.

Good luck!

Hi, You know i e mailed the embassy they answer the very next day. I think their email is the fastest way to know about a visa. My fiance was going every week to get the visa but they never had it and they kept telling him to go back the next week. He is from Matanzas and it is too far from Habana so, after calling and calling and having no luck with that, I decided to email and they responded the very next day. I emailed them every 2 days just to find out if the visa was ready and they would tell me that it was not until, one day after a month 1/2 they emailed me after i sent them the nastiest email ever lol and they finally said it was there ready for pick up.
