Email address for London embassy

Hi all - I need to contact the embassy regarding an issue with my medical appointment. The Doctor at Knightsbridge wants my GP to fax through some information on an operation I had six years ago, and said that they wouldn't forward the completed file to the embassy without it. My interview at the embassy is on Tuesday (2nd October), and I was advised to let the embassy know that there might be a possibility of the medical results not being forwarded in time. Only problem is, I can't find an email address to use, and the embassy website says that they don't have one for visa enquiries!

Is there an email address that other people have had success with in terms of enquiries/contacting the embassy? Or am I resigned to using the extremely expensive telephone number?

Thanks!

There is one, but you need to get a code so that the email is not deleted from the expensive phone number. They will also give you the appropriate email address at that time.

I don't think you need to let them know. It will cost you money just to call to get permission to email. What are they going to respond? A new interview date? Do you really want to wait on that again?

You turn up. They do the interview and say "everything looks good, but I can't approve you until your medical gets here." The medical arrives, they approve, send the visa out. It happens all the time.

Nick - you've just said the exact same thing (almost word for word) as the guy on the other end of the phone at the embassy! Said that emailing them wasn't necessary, and just to turn up to the interview. They'll just wait on the medical results before they send the visa out.

Only difference is his version cost me £6... ah well.

Thanks all.
