This piece is ridiculous. The person who made the video has very little knowledge or understanding of the history of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. He muddles through distortions of several centuries of history, putting all the blame on European powers trying to control the Suez Canal (which isn't even in Palestine,) completely ignores the role of Zionists in the mess, makes no mention of the Nakba, and even tries to peddle the "Jordan is Palestine" fallacy. He insists that all the Arab countries are opposed to a Palestinian state - even though the Palestine Liberation Organization was founded during a meeting of the Arab League, even though The League accepts Palestine as a full member, and even though every single Arab country has signed the Arab Peace Initiative. Even right-wing Israeli historians would laugh him off YouTube.

With his title, he seems to be trying to cash in on the name of a more respected publication from Jews For Justice in the Middle East called "The Origin of the Palestine-Israel Conflict" (which, unlike The CaspianReport, bothers to gives source info for every point.) You might try reading it.

There is a myriad of other material from credible historians that is easily available (if you are actually interested in learning something.) Seek out reputable sources.
