so, what ya do, so far , in the OPTING IN thingie to Electronic Processing at NVC?

working my lawyer. He agreed to opt in. So waiting for him to opt in and get my damn forms in. I've turn in everything to him already. Ready to go!!! Now just a matter of him opting in or I might have to do everything myself. I called nvc they said I don't need the ds 3032 because they have the G28 on file. What's your thoughts on that?

BTW thanks Darnell for everything!!

IMO/E - you can't use EP without OPTING IN for it.

You can't OPT IN without using a DS-3032 and the template that NVC has, that I've copied to the EP wiki page.

So, you're up for training an attorney to do EP? WOW.

If I were you, (rather, if you were me), I'd be at the attorney's office for half a day, watching him use a scanner

and training him how to compress pdf files to something manageable.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Looks like I failed in every way I can in terms of filing for electronic filing. NVC rejected my request. After reviewing how to do it via electronic, I feel incompentent in doing so. I think I'll let my lawyer do it's thing. Although I really wish he was up for the e filing thingee. Sorry to disappoint you. As I feel disappointed myself.

Question: with paper filing, after reading supplement 3 will my wife receive the interview letter via email or will it be paper since I'm doing it old school?

paper, sent out via postal mail from GUZ IV to her address listed in GUZ IV Packet 3 Supplemental.

re: nvc request -

you send in the OPT IN to 'nvcelectronic@state.gov' or no?

alternatively - send it in to 'nvcguangzhou@state.gov'

paper , old school, you lose 3 to 6 months more, compared to EP - that's specific to China, no other place.

if you'd like, I'm happy to train up yer lawyer, but he'd have to be agreeable to it. send me an email (not a pm) with his contact info.

Darnell, Thank you for your offer. Due to my inexperience and don't want to offend anyone, I decided to just have him send it via paper. The packages was sent out monday, NVC should of received it Tuesday. How long should I expect nvc to complete processing the aos and ds 230?

Again thank you for all your help and guidance. Although I failed to follow your recommendation, I greatly appreciate your help.
