About the bar-coded cover sheet

I just made the payment for AOS.

My understanding is that I need to get the bar coded cover sheet from the payment portal once my payment went through. Am I right ?

In my optin email,I used a DS-3032 form from the stock because I had had the signature from the beneficiary a while ago.

Would that be a problem? :help: :help: :help:

How about the bar coded page from the email from NVC?

I didn't use it at all ... Should I ??

Thank you very much!

If you didn't use the bar-coded DS-3032 to attach to your OPTIN email, you did it correctly.

DO NOT use the bar coded cover page that begins with GUZ. Wait until the number has changed to GZO, then use the new ones with the new number on it.

Wait until you (or the beneficiary) gets the Electronic processing acceptance email, THEN you may e-mail the AOS package with the new cover sheets.

I feel better now. Was nervous about any mistakes I might have made.

Congratulations on the completion of your case

I just looked at the payment site and it says " paid"

The cover sheet still starts with GUZ.

How long do I need to wait to get the right cover sheet starting with GZO ?

Should I go back to the payment site frequently and check the updates? Or should I just wait for the acceptance email as you mentioned ?

Thank you as always !

The EP acceptance e-mails will arrive in the beneficiary's mailbox. Also, at almost the same time when you log in using the old GUZ number, there will be a statement that the number has changed. You should log out and log in using the correct GZO numbers.

We waited about a week from sending the OPTIN email until acceptance into EP.

Thanks for sharing all the info :) :) :)

One more question about the mailing address of the beneficiary overseas...

I am not sure whether I should update it because I didn't write it down accurately due to limited space in I-130.

My understanding is NVC wouldn't mail anything to the beneficiary anyway...

I am planning to use the accurate one in I-864.

Thank you again !

The NVC did mail my in-laws something, but it was something they could ignore. The GUZ embassy WILL mail the interview appointment letter there. Your GUZ P3 supplemental which you will email with the IV packet will have all that info on it in English and Chinese.

May I ask the address in the letter from GUZ embassy is in Chinese or English ? I assume it's in Chinese...

You mean I will have an opportunity to provide my accurate address again in the GUZ PS supplemental reply right ?

Thank you so much !
