Hi all,

I already got my NOA2 & my Montreal # (cause they asked me for confirmation of my status in Canada).

Problem is I didnt get my package 3 yet.

Should I start working on it AND send it even though I didn't get it yet?

Read the Montreal Guide -- it will help you with the next steps of the journey.

Longer answer: Start working on it, and call DOS and find out if packet 3 has been sent to you yet. As soon as they say it has been sent to you, you can send it in. Don't wait for it to be delivered to you. Sometimes it never shows up. All the info you need is online.

The K-1 Visa journey for myself and my two K-2 children:

K-1: NOA1 2011-8-10; NOA2 2012-1-12; Interview 2012-4-24; Visa issued 2012-9-17; POE (Sarnia) 2012-9-26; Wedding! 2012-10-02
AOS: NOA1 2012-11-20; Biometrics 2012-12-14; AP/EAD approved 2013-1-11; Interview 2013-1-31; 2-yr Green cards in hand 2013-2-9 (101 days total)

ROC: NOA1 11-7-14; Biometrics 12-1-14; 10-yr Green cards ordered 4-13-15! (157 days total)

Counting down to naturalization time!

I actually asked this same question to one of the DoS workers. I asked if it would hinder my case to sent it before they had issued packet 3. She said that as long as it had my case number on it. It would get to where it needed to be whether packet 3 had been issued or not. That being said. I got my packet 3 the day after asking this question. So, if you send it before packet 3 is issued, I'm still confident that you're taking a risk on whether it helps or just makes them more confused.

Best of luck.
