I-601 Santo Domingo process times

Hi everyone, we submitted our waiver in Santo Domingo Dominican Republic in April (before they started processing them in the U.S.), and 5 1/2 months later we are still waiting.

Has anyone recently had there waiver approved out of Santo Domingo?

Its so discouraging to see people submitting their waivers to the lockbox in the U.S. after we did and we are still waiting... Wondering if it's possible to "re-submitt" ours to the U.S.

(FYI the consulate in santo Domingo said it could take up to a year!)

Any suggestions or experience in this situation is truly appreciated. Thanks
