Hi everyone!

Who is of São Paulo who doctor you went and what you thought? I'll schedule a doctor, but I'm not sure where I should go.

You should look into the website of the American Embassy in Sao Paulo under Medical Exam for Immigrant Visas and there you will find the doctors and addresses ..Boa sorte!

My Fiancé went to Dra Serra in SP, since her office was the closest to where he lives. He said she was "bem legal"

While he was able to schedule the exam without to much advance notice, the office staff usually took at least a day to reply to questions. We weren't prepared for all of the additional testing - there was a lot to do before the actual visa exam - blood test, tuberculosis test (takes 3 days and two visits), chest X-ray, hearing and vision acuity tests. All of these, with the exception of eye exam required multiple visits to take the exam and then pick up the results.

We were directed to specific specialists for these things, it was unclear whether alternatives would be accepted, so my advise would be to ask. The hospital we were directed to for the vaccines was very expensive and not covered by my fiance's convenio
