Hi, I have received an update from the embassy that Packet 3 has been mailed for my wife and son's petition. I do not wish to wait for the packet so I printed the DS-230 and DS-2001 and plan to submit it to the embassy directly. I am from Cebu and was wondering if I am able to get the interview schedule on the same day I submit the forms, so I can bring my wife and son along with me to Manila so they can have their medical the next day. I do not wish to come back and forth to Manila so I was just wondering if anyone knows about my concern. Thanks!

I mean, will I get the appointment letter at the same time I submit the forms? Thanks!

I *JUST* did this today... if everything is in order, you should receive a printout that allows you to call and schedule your interview, or schedule on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/

I was just there today, and already scheduled our interview.

Great! Thanks a lot for your help. I sent the forms thru e-mail today and was informed to wait for a week or two before I can schedule my wife's interview since they need time to upload her details to their sysem. If you don't mind, do you have an idea when is the soonest time for an interview schedule? Thanks again.

It will take 3 weeks. After scheduling you could call them everyday to see if they have any cancellations sooner to reschedule the interview sooner.
