If I came to the USA on J1 visa and then changed it to F1 student visa after got enrolled into college, can I still go to my native country to visit family?! And will I be ale to come back to the United States for college. My F1 visa is valid until 2017. Please help me. Don't really want to go back to my country and then not be able to come back to finish my study at the university.

Yes you can visit home dont forget to get your i-20 stamped by your international advisior.

You will have to go to US embassy in your home country to get your F1 stamped.
