Hey everyone, I made profiles on the US Embassy website in Manila and I was able to schedule interviews for both parents on October 3 2012. I then called the US embassy appointment line at (214-571-1600 this number is for calling from the US)and they said since they are husband and wife to just tell them when they arrive at the embassy that they are married and they will have same interview together. I pasted the link for the US Embassy Manila below. This Was for parents of a US citizen

Please update this thread as you find out more info as I am interested.

There's conflicting information about self setting of appointments via the website.

Immigrant visa interviews are not scheduled by the petitioner...they are scheduled by NVC.

Well there is an option on the website for Immigrant visa and when you call the appointment line there is a option also. I called the Embassy after and they ask if it was a IR5 also and even asked if I wanted to see if there was a sooner appointment. So yes they do schedule appointments for immigrant visa.

Ok...say you did schedule the interviews.

But now you have a big problem because the petitions are still sitting at the NVC.
