I filed my petition for my wife back in Nov 2010, and after waiting for over 14 months, instead of approving me,they sent me a RFE back in Feb 2012. I responded to the RFE back in May 2012 and after waiting for over 90 days they sent my case to the local office for review. Last week USCIS sent me an email and text message saying that quote" we transferred this case to your USCIS local field office for additional processing. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made" unqote.

Today, i got another text message and a an mail from the USCIS saying that they sent my case back to USCIS quote " The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office" unquote

To my understaing, at the begining, when they sent my case to the local office, I was expecting to be interviewed by the local officer of USCIS. I do not know what do they mean by transferring my case to USCIS office ???

Please help
