The GOP wants to overturn Roe vs. Wade and ban abortions. That is their declared platform. That's not BS, that's reality.

the above rational post is NOT what i was discribing as BS...and you know that. i've already given my opinion on what would & wouldn't pass as acceptable with the american public in regards to an anti abortion bill, so no need to repeat it. plus the fun police are camping out here now. :(

eta: 5-10 second response time after posting...very impressive officer. :)

one post removed and two quoting for tos violation:

Publish, post, upload, distribute, disseminate or offer to disseminate any inappropriate, offensive, defamatory, infringing, obscene or unlawful/illegal material, information or content.

to quell accusations before they start, this was not reported by anyone, this moderator ran across said posts.

regardless of whether one is for or against abortion, that does not grant any member license to post material of aborted ____ (insert appropriate name here depending upon your stance on abortion).

upon a peer check with another moderator, admin action has been taken.

TL; DR

India, gun buyback and steamroll.

no. the government does need to quit spending more money than we have, and there are places we could cut spending. once the credit cards max out, its going to get real ugly.(Greece..but, with an armed population)

If you believe that is true, why are they wasting their time on this? Surely this time (money) could be better spent? Why should the GOP waste our money on "theatre" and then refuse to expand medicaid because it is "too expensive"?

That would be called "pro-choice".. The viewpoint you expressed fits very nicely with that movement. Neither side celebrates abortions or is trying to talk people into them. The debate is about who has the final say: society or the woman. If you go to a pro-life rally you will find nobody shares your views on leaving it up to the woman to decide.. The pro-choice people on the other hand would give you a big thumbs up and maybe a hug, so go on over and say hello.

The names could be better.. Maybe "pro-legalization" and "anti-legalization"

I respect your opinion, but I insist in declaring myself pro-life. If some group has misappropriated the name, so be it. They are not pro-life, from the moment they support the death penalty.

Where I disagree with you is that since Roe v. Wade abortions are legal, so there is no sense is talking about pro-legalization, no more than speaking of pro-alcohol would have after the repeal of the XXI amendment.
