Hi all,

I have finally received my final interview date. I have been keeping track of what I need and have a folder sitting on my shelves with all the documents in, but well am worrying my #### off and would just like some confirmation that I have not missed anything.

Per the embassy website, I have the following applicable documents:

  • Passport
  • Birth Certificate
  • Police certificates
  • Affidavit of support (1x I-134 from fiancée and 1x I-134 from sponsor and both with evidence)

In addition, in my folder I have the following:

  • Complete copy of the petition
  • Complete copy of the documents I sent to the embassy (DS-2001, 230 (Part 1), DS-156. DS-156K, DS-157)
  • Up to date letters of intent from both myself and my fiancée
  • The various letters sent to me by the embassy
  • My immunisation record copy, sent to me by Knightsbridge doctors
  • Various forms of evidence of the continuation of our relationship since January (when the petition was sent in)

In addition, I have a duplicate/copy of every document in my folder. I also need to get some photos done.

Should i print off form IV-19 and include that in my folder? I note when i applied for a B2 visa, last year, i had to print off a cover page to show to the woman outside the embassy; i dont believe i have seen anything similar for a K1 ... have i missed something?

Other than the above, am I missing anything?

Finally, does anyone have any last minute advice or recommended threads to read on what questions i should expect to be asked while in the embassy?

Regards,

You'll need your interview letter and most importantly, the MRV fee receipt. If you haven't paid for it over the operator assisted visa information line, then do this now. The fee receipt is sent by email.

Just to add, you absolutely don't need a copy of the petition, nor will you need the immunisation copy or medical information. London already has that. You're given that copy for AOS.

You've got everything else that you need. xXJulzXx has posted a youtube video, but you might also get a better feel from the London embassy reviews.

Dress light! The room is an Ez-bake oven!
