Thanks...Sunshine...for the Medical Experience of ur wife....Can u pls answer me some questions:

1. How many copies of I/L is needed exactly for Medicals...i.e. 2-3 ???

2. Accordingly how many copies of Passport is required..???

3. Which size photos should we take....2 * 2 or our regular Indian passport type and how many..???

4. Dis she had her Vaccine records which she took earlier..??? If not what did she told to doctor.???

5. Do they only take Blood sample or urine sample also..???

Again, thanks for the Information...will be waitin to get reply soon for above listed ques///

She kept 3 copies of all above documents (including 2x2 photos according to US passport standards).

She took her family physicians vaccine record document. So they did not give Varicella based on her vaccine history. I think that took the medical exam cost below Rs 2000.

I guess they took blood sample not urine sample, but will confirm with her.

@sunshine

nice write up.

i have a question ..how did she schedule appointment with apollo?

and hospital gave appointment of next day? or there was gap b/w when she called for app and when medical examination conducted ?

You can schedule over phone or personal visit to hospital. She lives very close by, so went to hospital for 1:1 conversation to confirm all things and that was done about 2 weeks prior to her medical exam date.

and i have one additional qun also....i have heard that medical reports are sealed...and cant be open by us.

so how can we know that everything is ok with our reports ?

did doctor told your wife that everything is ok ?

yes doctors did not raised any issue. it's a sealed envelope and you need to submit it to VFS.
