Hello:

I have seen posts on calling DOS and trying to get a REAL person but I must have outdated info. I get all the way to the end and there is no option to talk to a real person and 0 takes you back to the main menu. Does anyone have recent experience with this? I am trying to see if medical has been received and if there is an interview date. Thanks!

i called and got through to and real person within 3 minutes

12/10/12 P.O.E in Las Vegas, NV
12/12/12 Got Marriage License
12/14/12 MARRIED

12/28/12 Received Marriage Certificate
12/28/12 Recieved Marriage Certificate
01/02/13 Received SSC
01/07/13 AOS Sent

Are you skipping pressing 1 before pressing 0?

Hi,

The DOS number I called a few weeks ago was (202)663-1225, press 1 then 0 to speak to someone.

They open from 8.30am (1.30pm English time) I had no problems getting through.

There is also a link that stu4lee gave me which worked sometimes :)

select immigrant visa and then put in your LND number.

Timeline:

Dec 31st 2011- I-129F sent
August 2nd 2012- INTERVIEW- APPROVED
August 10th 2012- Visas received
August 21st 2012- P.O.E Boston!

September 11th 2012- Applied for SSN.
September 16th 2012- MARRIED!!!
September 17th 2012- Received SSN.
October 26th 2012- Sent off AOS forms.

January 16th 2013- EAD and AP card issued.
January 26th 2013- Card received in mail.

May 29th 2013- Service request, as outside of processing times.

June 25th 2013- Green card/EAD stamp received in passport. Green card production ordered!

July 5th 2013- Green card arrives :)

August 22nd 2014- Daughter Born!

April 17th 2015- I-751 Sent.

April 20th 2015- NOA 1

June 2nd 2015- Biometrics Appt.

February 2nd 2016- I-751 APPROVED! 10 Year Green card issued!

 

February 22nd 2019 Applied for Citizenship! 

March 14th 2019 - Biometrics appt.

April 23rd 2019 - Interview. APPROVED!!!!!  It took 60 days!!!

This is correct, press 1 then 0. I couldn't figure it out when I first called either! But do this and you'll definitely get through :D

N-400:

Applied online - 7/4/19 

Receipt notice - 7/4/19

Biometrics - 7/25/19

Interview - 9/13/19

Oath Ceremony - 10/11/19

Thank you everyone. I had tried the 1/0 thing but when I hit 0 it kept hanging up on me. Tried a few times and got through. Thank you!!

PS How long can it honestly take to log packet 3. YEESH!!!!!!!!!!

They seem to have changed a lot of their options. But 1+0 eventually got me through, although the woman hung up on me the first time. Something very odd going on.

Also that CEAC stat tracker seems to be totally dead and has been over the last few days. Anyone know if it's moved?
