This coming I'll be moving and have arranged a post address that will function as my post address till I get married.

Now I found the forms that I have to fill in but I am a little puzzled after studying it for a while.

https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa

Non-U.S. Citizens

If you have moved, you need to follow two different steps:

Step 1: File a Form AR-11 (This changes your address in our master database.);

Step 2: If you have a pending case, you must also file a Change of Address online or call our National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283. (This changes your address for the specific application you have submitted.)

Please note that if you are a non-U.S. citizen and you have a pending case, you must complete both steps to make sure that you comply with the regulations and so we can reach you at your correct address.

Understood but the next step:

if you are a non-U.S. citizen, please also have:

The date when you last entered the United States (If you cannot remember, please fill in an approximate date.);

The location where you last entered the United States (the port of entry where you entered – whether by land, sea, or air).

I don't see why this is relevant. I mean, I will gladly tell them when I last entered the US and on which port of entry but why do they want to know? Which make me doubt if I'm on the right page for changing my address.

So my question is am I on the right page or do I need to fill other forms?

Hi there, I have the same question and doubts, because to answer these question:" if you are a non-U.S. citizen, please also have:

The date when you last entered the United States (If you cannot remember, please fill in an approximate date.);

The location where you last entered the United States (the port of entry where you entered – whether by land, sea, or air)."

I imagine that means I am inside the States now, but I am not, I am still in Holland and I want to change my Dutch address!! Anyone knows if this is the right form to use? :help: :help: :help:

There is no form for changing your address at this stage of the game. Those forms AR-11 are for after you are in the US not while you are awaiting adjudication. My fiance moved also during the process and the advice we got was when we called the NVC or Embassy after NOA2 approval to make sure THEY have the correct address as USCIS doesn't mail anything out to the beneficiary (at the stage you are at) and therefore does not need the update. The most important time to change it is when you are interviewing, make sure the Embassy has the change.

I'm not sure exactly where, but there are several forum questions that answer this if you do a search.

Good luck! star_smile.gif
