hello everyone! is there anyone out there having the same case like mine? i filed my aos february and was transferred to california service center last march and it still in initial review up to now. i appreciate any comments, suggestions or advice. thanks! have a blessed day everyone!

As previously mentioned, some service centers are overloaded and are processing applications slowly.

However, it wouldn't hurt to contact your respective senator and/or congressman. These representatives have liaisons, who deal with immigration matters. They can contact USCIS and inquire the status of your case. You would need to complete a privacy act release form, which authorizes them to act on your behalf. These forms are on their respective websites.

Contacting your state representatives does not guarantee a decision on your case. But it certainly does not hurt asking.
