DCF Mexico- Medical Exam

Hi everybody,

I'm about to schedule interview appointments for my wife and son. The consulate states here that children between 2 and 14 need to have their medical exam at least 4 days before the interview appointment: http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/final-interview-and-medical-exam.html.

Can anyone confirm this? It seems excessive to have to spend practically a whole week in Ciudad Juarez. I would contact the consulate to ask, but their responses tend to be very banal and matter-of-fact. I'm sure they'll just repeat what the website says.

And how have people managed their plane tickets and hotel reservations? Did you buy a return ticket or just one-way and then purchase the ticket back when you were done? With two interview appointment, medical exams, biometrics, etc. for my wife and son (he's 6 years old, by the way), how many days should I expect to be in Ciudad Juarez?

Thanks so much!

If you have tatoos, you have to add one day between medical and the interview, because they perform you a Pshycological Evaluation and the results dont come in untill the Next Day at 10:00 AM
