Hello

My fiance was approved for the K-1 VISA, of which he was sent to collect it this week.   He called ASAP Tickets to purchase his plane ticket and was told by an airline Agent, he must purchase it "Round-Trip" since he's coming to the States on a VISA that has an expiration date. Is that really necessary for K-1? The K-1 expires after 90 days, and our intentions are to keep him here after marriage with application of Green Card.

Please advise me on this matter. Thank you. :)

Congratulations! I came here on K-1 visa and we bought one way ticket.

Congrats on the visa!! When Sifa came here on K-1 we bought a one way ticket, but as others have said it's just whatever is cheapest. If you do buy round trip though remember to cancel the return leg once he's here!
