RFE!

So I just got what I think is an RFE, but I don't understand it at all.

Here goes. We paid the $88 AOS fee on July1st. As of July 3rd it showed PAID on the payment portal. About a week later it showed "NOT PAID." I thought it was a glitch or something, as there are so many glitches on this site it seems like. Anyway. The AOS package was sent on July 17th. The IV fee was paid and is showing PAID on the payment portal. Still gathering documents for the IV package.

Today I just got an email from the NVC asking for additional information from me, the beneficiary. It says "instructions for (my name)". First, it says I have "provided incomplete information" in the AOS package. Then it says they have received the "requested IV application" and it's asking for the IV fee to be paid.. !?

1. I'm the beneficiary, I have nothing to do with the AOS package.

2. It says they have received the IV package, but not the payment, when in fact I have paid the fee, but haven't sent the package.

What am I supposed to make of this nonsense!?

Just did. Apparently neither the AOS fee nor the IV fee was accepted. She said I used the wrong browser (Firefox instead of IE) when paying online.. (wth!? really!?)

That, and the income listed in the I-864 for 2011 didn't correspond with what it said on the tax return transcript.. Sounds strange but oh well. Have to send in the I-864 once again.
