Hi vjs.. i came in America almost 3 months now as k1 visa.. i will have my green card interview in 2 weeks which is quite fast from time we filed AOS. i am happy with my husband but i left my 2 kids in Philippines.they are with their dad(my ex). it just break my heart coz i miss them so much.one of them might come here this year with k2 visa.i might get my elldedt daughter which is 6years old.i am kinda worried coz my daughter might have difficult time to adjust here. she is so close to her dad too.. im also worried of her transfering to school here coz she is so shy . does anyone have the same experience?

My wife and I are dealing with the same thing..

Her daughter is in Colombia, and has a very good father who she loves and he loves her.. So, we have no easy solution.. For us, my wife splits her time between Colombia and here.. 1-2 months at a time in Colombia 4-5 times per year.. Clearly it makes life very challenging.. She obviously cant work, because she isn't here long enough to settle into a job and cant work there for the same reason..

So, we do the best we can..
